..and then there were none!! Dark Green lost in a thriller with Red last week, but has the opportunity to regain sole possession of first place with a win over Army Green this week. The Grey team is thirsty for its first win, lookout Navy.

Up next in our sponsorship tour is O’Brien’s Irish Pub, which has a fantastic pizza special for us on Wednesday night. O’Brien’s is on the south side of Kellogg between Oliver and Edgemoor, map.

The sponsor appreciation race has been reset for the second trimester of the season. Red has taken an early lead with several teams just a couple people away.

We would like to remind all of our fans and players that this is primarily a social league with less emphasis on competition. As a league of “Young Professionals”, we expect the highest levels of sportsmanship from all participants. Please remember to keep your emotions in check and remain respectful of the umpires and other players during the games.

In the event of a rainout, The League will notify the managers and the managers are responsible for passing the word on to you. No news is good news, so assume the games are on unless otherwise notified. Should a rainout occur, we’ll still meet at O’Brien’s at 7pm.
